About Our Community
Adams is a picturesque valley town in beautiful Berkshire County, only fifteen minutes from the New York and Vermont state borders.  Nestled between Mount Greylock (Massachusetts' highest peak) on the west and by the Hoosac Range on the east, Adams is abundant with natural splendor such as the Greylock Glen, Mount Greylock State Reservation and the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. Adams is rich in historical landmarks, such as the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum and the Quaker Meeting House.  In 2008 Adams was named to the Top 200 Towns for Outdoorsman. When in Adams, there is plenty to do, from hiking our many trails to visiting our historic sites, from dining and shopping and attending our nearby performance centers, Adams is wonderful place to visit year round.
