January 26 Nomination Papers available at Town Clerk’s Office.
March 9 5 p.m. Deadline for incumbent Town Meeting Members to notify Town Clerk that they are candidates for reelection
(56-days).
March 16 5 p.m. Deadline for ALL candidates (except incumbent Town Meeting Members) to submit nomination papers (49 days).
April 1 5 p.m. Deadline to withdraw or object to nomination papers (33 days).
April 14 8 p.m. Deadline to registar to vote in Town Election (20 days).
April 27 4 p.m. Deadline for filing initial Campaign Finance Report. Report period ends 10 days before deadline (your last election date - 4/17/09) (8 days).
MAY 4, 2009 ADAMS TOWN ELECTION 7 A.M. – 7 P.M.
June 3 4 p.m. Deadling for filing final Campaign Finance Report. Report period ends 10 days before deadline (4/17/09 - 5/26/09)
(30 days).
The following is a listing of offices that will be on the Annual Adams Election Ballot on May 4, 2009 as well as the current officers holding the positions. Nomination papers will be available on Monday, January 26, 2009. Nomination papers must be filed with the Town Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2009.
